Launch of “Where There is No Engineer” 2016 and Nepal Cultural Event

On Tuesday the 19th January we held the official launch of  “Where there is no Engineer – Designing for Community Resilience” at St. Laurence’s church, Grangegorman. The programme was officially opened by An Tánaiste Joan Burton TD with other speakers including Deepesh Man Shakya, President of the Nepal Ireland Society and EWB Director Liam McCarton.

Following the formal opening we had a very enjoyable cultural programme with performances from the Nepalese community to celebrate the culture of Nepal in music, song and dance along with some traditional Irish music.
