EWB iD8 Workshop

‘EWB iD8’ ideation workshop takes place in Facebook HQ, Dublin on 7th of July from 9am – 4pm.
Facilitated by multi-award winning & innovative Engineer, Colin Keogh, who is founder of The Rapid Foundation at UCD, it will focus on two location based challenges from East Africa and Eastern Europe.
1) Plastic production & prevention through recycling, upcycling and environmental conservation projects at an ECO-UNESCO site in Watamu, Kenya.
2) Homelessness / Housing Crisis in Ireland – ways and means of improving life for those who find themselves without a home, improving services and access to these services, and helping the organisations working in the sector to be more effective.
This will be a full-on interactive workshop, bringing you from storytelling and brainstorming to concept development and validation of your concept as a team. All problem solvers welcome!
The winners will not only receive a prize of €250, but their concept will also be developed further with help from the ticket entry fund.
This event is funded by the European Union through the Build Solid Ground project, lunch and location is kindly provided by Facebook. Additional sponsorship has been provide by Roughan & O’Donovan.
